Haldane Record Best Month of Sales in 75 Year History

Haldane UK, the market leader in luxury timber handrails and staircase components, has announced it has achieved record sales in one month since the company was established in 1945.

 

The company, which has been at the forefront of the CNC timber machining sector since installing its first five-axis machining centre some 25 years ago, confirmed it had secured £885,000 worth of projects in August 2021.

 

The company has invested over £1.5 million over the last four years in its new state of the art machining centre, which has seen a complete redesign of the system from pioneering 3D scanning technology to customised software development through to its new five-axis CNC machines.

 

It is now the only CNC Timber Handrail specialist to boast 4No 5 axis CNC machines, with a fifth machine to be installed in October 2021.

 

Haldane UK, Managing Director, Forrester Adam, explained, “After a difficult period for all the construction industry over the last 18 months, we are delighted to achieve this new record as the sector starts to bounce back.”

 

He continued, “What is most pleasing is the £885,000 figure is not dominated by a large project which can cause scheduling problems when delays occur but is made up of a significant number of projects from different contractors and private clients.”

 

Despite the record sales month, Haldane UK is committed to ensuring they continue to offer timber handrails within four weeks, providing customers with the best lead times and world-class customer service.
