Haldane UK has enabled a luxury property in London’s Kensington district to create a stunning feature staircase thanks to their ability to manufacture and install complex continuous timber handrails.
The handrail was manufactured in Sapele and featured a slimline profile measuring 76mm wide by 44mm high which twisted and turned down the 3 storey staircase, requiring Haldane UK to use all of its 25 years’ experience and expertise.
The 20 linear metres of straight handrail was complemented by a number of raking to raking wreath sections, raking to horizontal wreaths and a wreathed gooseneck – as well as other more standard 90 degree bends and ramps.
