Haldane’s Handrail For Hollywood A-Lister London Home

Haldane has added yet another name to its growing list of celebrity clients with the completion of its latest handrail project in an exclusive area of London for one of the UK’s biggest movie stars.

Haldane manufactured and installed an elliptical handrail measuring 70mm x 40mm in European White Oak to sit on bespoke metal balustrading for the actor’s luxury home.

The continuous handrail spirals up through 2 flights of stairs which was achieved using Haldane UK’s expertise in 5 axis CNC machining to produce precision timber handrail components including wreaths, 90 degree bends and various transitions.

Haldane UK’s Managing Director, Forrester Adam, “We had been working closely with the architect and the main contractor throughout the project however it wasn’t until he came on site to inspect the works in the last couple of weeks of that we discovered who the client actually was.”

He continued, “Client confidentiality prevents us from divulging the identity of the actor, however he is undoubtedly one of the biggest UK names in Hollywood and since meeting him on site, our installation team is certainly the envy of most females in the office.”
