Mini Timber Spindles For Luxury Kitchen Units

Haldane has proved that great things really do come in small packages by manufacturing miniature versions of its Tay spindles to be used as door featuresby one of the UK’s leading luxury kitchen companies.

Working closely with the kitchen manufacturer and their client, Haldane made a few tweaks to the design of its Tay spindle before manufacturing 20 of the components to the superior standards that Haldane is famous for.

Manufactured in European Oak and measuring just 200mm in length and 20mm square, the spindles provide a unique finishing touch to the custom designed kitchen.

Haldane UK’s Managing Director, Forrester Adam,  explained, “With our reputation for handrails and balustrade, we have found that our specialist turning skills are often over looked however it’s not so long ago that we were producing a variety of turned products, including spinning wheels.”

He continued, “We have moved on from there but our specialist woodturning services remain one of the best in the UK and have recently called upon to manufacture everything from japanese drum sticks to bathroom furniture however the miniature spindles are certainly one of our most unusual.”
