Staircase Refurbishment For Store In Paris

Haldane UK has completed the refurbishment of the feature staircase in the flagship Hackett store in Paris after successfully completing the stores in London and Edinburgh.

The Paris project required Haldane to replace the existing mitred handrail with a continuous American White Oak handrail which was then stained to a dark oak for a vintage appearance.

The staircase featured 24 metres of 100 x 80mm profiled timber handrail with a variety of ramps, 90° and 180° bends and wreathed end caps.

Haldane also called upon their wood turning experience to replace the 54mm damaged spindles on the staircase with exact replicas of the existing staircase.
